Cold Store Supervisor - Meat Industry

Skills Required:

- NCEA Level 3 or equivalent. Stores/Warehousing Diploma desirable but not essential
- Previous experience working in a Cold Store environment essential, and understanding refrigeration/freezer maintenance
- Supervisory experience essential
- Understand Health & Safety requirements in the perishable food industry
- Good organisational skills
- Good employment knowledge regarding Employment Law and Contracts, Company Policies, I/R, Admin, etc
- Computer literate

Duties Required:

- Overseeing Operations including daily targets, cost control, quality standards and despatch
- Overseeing departmental staff including staffing levels, staff conduct, development and training, etc
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, RMP compliance processes and systems
- Compliance with HR systems including staff record keeping, etc
